Since the LCD monitor has a native 1024x768 resoltion it blinks complaining about the current resolution, but I cannot choose the 1024x768 option. I could finally seee Clonezillas's splash screen, but nothing worked there. So, my next attempt was connecting that machine to a somewhat newer LCD monitor that still uses the VGA cable. It seems to be trying to sync HZs or resolution or both. Little before that, the old CRT monitor makes several CLICK sounds. Since it is so old, it cannot boot from usb so I have burned cds.Īnyways, the failure is the same, no matter what version I use, all I could get was a black screen with a blinking cursor. I have a quite old Pentium II machine that can't seem to be able to boot with clonezilla-live. Well, I have had some sucess and some failure to a degree.
